The End of Part II

I thought it would only be fitting to post images from the end, last month, in Tibet.  This was the most awful bus ride I’ve ever experienced – besides the fact that I couldn’t eat, I was vomiting, and…

You get the point, it was rough.  Day 1 took 13 hours to travel 150km.

  1. I’ve just finished reading your blog from Tibet and I have to say it was absolutely inspirational! Cycling on the Tibetan plateau is a feat of physical, mental and emotional prowess that’s so far removed from anything that I even imagine! I am in awe…….

    I am rather jealous of your Kazakhstan trip though and I look forward to reading it in its entirety. You may have even inspired me to the trip, something I’ve been planning of a while, on my bicycle. Although probably not….. I shall stick to my powered two wheeler…… It’s very old though, is the only thing I can offer in my (very weak) defence………
